Caribbean Cruise - Southampton

Joining the ship Britannia in Barbados saw us visit 4 islands before crossing the Atlantic to the Azores and ending at Southampton. We booked the holiday as Rob was working on the ship as one of the band singers. Expensive - YES, but with friends and family discounts a 5% saving was made and we had a top deck cabin with balcony and unobstructed view of the ocean. Let's get it right - apart from meals nearly everything had a cost and this expanded our holiday cost by around £500 - on top of the £2600 holiday cost. More money was saved thanks to Rob offering his on-board account for drinks etc. that enabled a 50% reduction at the bar.

Skopelos - Autumn

Late September we took a week on the Greek island of Skopelos, ferried across from one of our favourite islands, Skiathos.
