Welcome to a website dedicated to Amington Rec'. The idea of a website dedicated to the Rec' was first mooted by Mick Lea of Amington and put into web format by Barry Wright an old frend of Micks who as born in Monks Way back in 1953.

Naturally both Mick and Barry have much personal experience of the Rec and indeed of Amington in general. Both aerial photos were taken Summer 2009 by Barry during a microlight flight
